 Types of sunscreens and what they do

There are two main types of sunscreen: chemical and physical.

Chemical sunscreens work by absorbing UV rays and converting them into heat, which is then released from the skin. Physical sunscreens work by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin.

Both types of sunscreen are effective at protecting the skin from damage, but physical sunscreens tend to be less irritating to the skin. They are also less likely to cause allergic reactions.
